Sandwiches

Lars loved the sandwich I made for him so much he took a picture of it before he ate it.
He sure does know how to show me his appreciation! I love my husband!

Mason is MOBILE!

Patty Neuenschwander Keeton(Nana) & Kenneth Keeton(Papa) are back from their annual Idaho vacation at Lake Pend Oreille just in time to see our Mason boy start crawling! Yes, our little man is officially mobile! Mason can't wait to see his Auntie Kaycie Keeton Beattie & Uncle Kenny to show off his new skills! Only 24 days!

Piano Surprise

Max left me some surprises in my piano this evening. Evidently, he believes the piano functions much like a CD player. Wouldn’t it make sense that the piano plays a song when you put a CD in an opening? I’m not sure where his logic was when he jammed the paper into the soundboard alongside the CDs. I guess I should be thankful it wasn’t gum, candy, or boogers!

Smart Little Cookie

Max can successfully say his ABC's from A to Z.  He can also count to 20 forward and from 10 backward.  He loves to read books, watch TV, dance, play instruments (mostly the piano), pray, drive, play with Abby Cat, go on walks, play zoom zooms, play school, cook in his kitchen, draw, play balls, check his "email" on his Leap Frog phonics toy, play with cell phones, remotes, cameras, telephones, and pretty much any electronic device.  He is fascinated by electricity, energy, and batteries.  He continually tries to examine all items with an on/off switch to see how they work.  He is extremely verbal and very bright.

6 months

Mason had his 6 month portraits today and I think they will turn out wonderfully!  He is such a beautiful and easy going baby!  At his 6 month baby well exam he weighed in at 17 lbs 1 oz and was 26.75 inches long.  He now has 2 teeth (the bottom middle); the right one came first with the left following shortly after.  His hair is a light brown with an ash overtone.  He rolls around, scoots in circles, and scoots backwards.  He wants to crawl SO badly and is almost there.  He usually is fairly quiet but when he is ready to chat he certainly wants his voice heard.  His coos and babbling are quite boisterous!  He eats three square meals a day including rice, fruit, vegetable, and formula.  He LOVE his big brother Max!  He really looks up to him and laughs at him all the time.  Mason is very adaptable and loves people.  He smiles and laughs most of the time.  He continues to love his jumperoo, but has grown out of his floor mat with lights.  He also loves playing in his highchair.  He can almost sit up, but not quite yet.  He has a hard time being in is BUMBO now because he nearly jumps out of it.  He is very strong.  He has the cutest ears ever; the top of them tip out just like a little elf.  Mason is such a darling little boy.
